The Dallas Cowboys ended a two-game losing streak on Monday night by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 at Lincoln Financial Field. The victory halted a slide that had dropped Dallas to a 2-4 record and prevented the team from falling further behind in the NFC East standings.

Quarterback Dak Prescott threw three touchdown passes to lead the offense. He completed two of those scores to CeeDee Lamb and one to George Pickens. This marked the sixth time in his career that Prescott has thrown at least three touchdowns against Philadelphia. The Cowboys also recorded more than 200 yards rushing and 200 yards passing against the Eagles for the first time since 1983.

Running back Javonte Williams carried the ball 25 times for a career-high 155 yards. He scored the final touchdown of the game from the 2-yard line with 2:21 remaining. The defensive line applied pressure on Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee, recording two sacks by Quinnen Williams and Donovan Ezeiruaku. DeMarvion Overshown intercepted one pass to further limit the Eagles' offensive production.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer appeared unusually reserved during his postgame press conference. He noted that the team simply played well and that his demeanor was not a sign of desperation. Prescott observed a "definitely hungry, pissed-off version" of the coach during the week, noting that Schottenheimer takes pride in his role as a playcaller. The coach recently described himself as an "elite playcaller" on a local radio station despite the team's recent struggles.

The Cowboys had not won a game in 22 days prior to this matchup. Their last victory came on October 4 against the Houston Texans. Dallas now has a 57% chance of winning the division, according to ESPN Analytics. The team maintains a 4-2-1 record against the New York Giants in the division race. The next game is scheduled for a home date against the Arizona Cardinals at AT&T Stadium.

Prescott emphasized that the team must earn its position every week. He stated that the division is right in front of them and that they must win division games to stay competitive. The victory temporarily interrupted the uncertainty surrounding the team's offensive consistency. The Cowboys allowed the Eagles to score on the opening drive of the first and second halves but limited the damage in subsequent possessions.
